Staykart’s role and Staykart's limitation of liability.

Staykart.in simply acts as an intermediary and provides an online platform for users to select and book specific hotels. Hotels in this context include all accommodation categories such as hotels, lodges, B&Bs, farmhouses and other alternative accommodation.

All information about hotels, including hotel categories, pictures, room types, amenities and facilities available in the hotel, is based on the information provided by the hotel to Staykart.in. This information is for reference only. Any discrepancy between the website photos and the actual hotel settings should be raised directly by the user with the hotel and resolved between the user and the hotel. Staykart has no responsibility in the resolution process and shall not be liable for any such disputes.

Hotel information and Hotel conditions

Hotel booking vouchers issued by Staykart.in to users are solely based on information provided or updated by the hotel regarding availability. Under no circumstances will Staykart.in be responsible for non-acceptance of approved users, service standards or deficiencies, or other issues related to hotel services. Staykart's liability is limited to providing similar alternative accommodation in the event of refusal by the hotel, whether for reasons such as overbooking, system or technical error, room unavailability. At Staykart's discretion (subject to availability at the time), the booking amount (in the amount paid) will be refunded to the user. Other service issues should be resolved by the user directly with the hotel.

The hotel reserves the sole right to check-in and Staykart has no opinion on the check-in or refusal of check-in by the hotel. Some hotel policies may not allow single or non-family couples as may be charged on behalf of the actual service provider, and any additional booking fee or convenience fee charged by Staykart.

  • At the hotel’s or Staykart’s sole discretion on case to case basis, the User may also be provided with an option to make a part payment to Staykart at the time of confirmation of a booking. The balance booking amount shall be paid as per the terms of the bookings. For security purposes, the User must provide Staykart with correct credit or debit card details. Staykart may cancel the booking at its sole discretion in case such bank or credit card details as provided by the User are found incorrect.
  • Some banks and card issuing companies charge their account holders a transaction fee when the card issuer and the merchant location (as defined by the card brand, e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express) are in different countries. If a User has any questions about the fees or any exchange rate applied, they may contact their bank or the card issuing company through which payment was made.
  • Some accommodation suppliers may require User and/or the other persons, on behalf of whom the booking is made, to present a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in to cover additional expenses that may be incurred during their stay. Such deposit is unrelated to any payment received by Staykart and solely at the behest of the Hotel.
  • In “Pay at hotel” model, the concerned hotel will collect the entire payment against the booking at the time of check-in. In case of international bookings, the payment will be charged in local currency or in any other currency, as decided by the hotel. For security purposes, the User must provide Staykart with correct credit or debit card details. Staykart may cancel the booking at its sole discretion in case such bank or credit card details as provided by the User are found incorrect.
